Rik began performing in 2006 in the University of Colorado drag show.
He expanded his dance horizons in 2007 when he started bellydancing with Lisa Goodrich.
He is a molecular biology, psychology, pre-nursing and nordic studies student by day,
and bellydancing, drag queen, aerialist by night. In 2010, he began aerial dance at
Frequent Flyers, and has followed in his teacher's footsteps blending bellydance
and aerial silks. He brings a combination of these skills to each performance.
He prefers structured improvisation such as American Tribal Style, and blending
various forms of dance in Tribal Fusion. Currently, Rik is dancing with Desert Rain and
focusing on improvisation and props, such as veils, swords, and candles.
